Heavenly Purgatory

Don't believe everything you read. Purgatory is actually quite lovely;)
This weekend, we drove 8 hours up to 9000 feet above sea level to Purgatory Ski Resort, outside of Durango, Colorado. Everything about it was amazing. The Resort was gorgeous and spacious with TONS to do. The scenery was absolutely song-inspiring, (we, for sure all got Rocky Mountain Highs). The weather was PERFECT! And, the company... I can't say enough about the Skidmore family:)

How funny. Did you know we made the same trip earlier this summer? We went up through Durango, through Silverton, camped in Ouray/high country, and then down through Telluride (camped there too) (oh yeah, and stopped at Four Corners too!). We were also in awe the whole time. I've been meaning to post pictures for the longest time.

I definitely want to go back sooner than later.
Glad you had a great time!! Was it a family reunion?

Yes, family reunion! So beautiful, right? Any interest in living the ranch-life?? We could go in on a place:)
